Big Birthdays
We'd like to see projects for those special celebrations Like 18, 21, 30, 40 and Beyond!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Ingredients:
If you landed here from Tammy's coolio blog, then you're in the right place! For today's Blog Hoppening, I decided to celebrate the FaBuLoUs age of 50!! I mean, 50 is the new 30, amiright? (Y'all know that I turned 50 this year, so just humor me).
For my project I colored up the superfab image of "Super Mom" with my trusty Prismacolor pencils. She reminds me of a cross between Lucy and Mrs. Cleaver. I think she's cute as a bug's ear (yes, bugs have ears...sheesh). The rest of the card just sort of evolved. I wanted it to look retro-50ish...like a kitschy kitchen. And, I HAD to add pearls. Had to...or it would not have been complete. And yes...that is REALLY old patterned paper from Flair on the background. But hey, it works.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
- Cupcake Craft Challenges - #200 Numbers
- Paper Play Challenges - Week 27 Birthdays
- Corrosive Challenge Blog - Sentimentally Yours
Ingredients:
Super Mom image - Kenny K
Prismacolor colored pencils
Patterned papers - DCWV (Nana's Kitchen), Flair
Pearls - Michaels
Ribbon - Creative Impressions
Scallop edge punch - Martha Stewart for EK Success
Scallop edge scissors - Fiskars
Cuttlebug Dotted embossing folder - Provo Craft
