Hi, I'm Torrey. Welcome to Left Field, where creativity runs amok and imagination is ALWAYS more important than knowledge. Shoes are not allowed but ties are optional. This is a repository of snippets from my life out here in Left Field. One never knows what shiny bits of creativity will be found here... cards, scrapbook layouts, photography, poetry, recipes, ponderings, rantings and musings. It could be anything! Life in Left Field is always changing, always real, always ...interesting.

Bloom Where You're Planted

Hidy Ho, crafty peeps!

I'm taking a break from the RIVETING coverage of THE tea party to bring you my next-to-last (sigh) project as a guest designer for House Mouse and Friends.

I'm very surprised how fast my term just zipped by. I'm also a little sad that it's over. I had a blast! Thank you to all the gals at House Mouse for making me feel so welcome!

Today I'm posting my card for the current-but-almost-over challenge (since I somehow overlooked posting it amidst the tea party jumble).

Here is my project for the current challenge at House Mouse and Friends which ends here in about, oh, 8 hours. SO YOU STILL HAVE SOME TIME TO ENTER!!!

(maybe, depending on when you actually read this post).

The challenge is FLOWER POWER

We were tasked with including flowers in our projects. Here is the card I whipped together for the challenge. The image is stamped on Kraft cardstock and colored with my Prismacolor pencils. Another simple card...I know....I'm shocked too!

Thank you for coming out to Left Field!

  1. This just might turn into one of my all time favorite images from House Mouse. I love the little sunflower umbrella... So adorable!
